Medical equipment in modern times whether it be for medical examination or surgical procedures/operations most of the equipment need some source of power. Equipment such as electrocardiograms, radiography, dental apparatus and body scanning all need a source of electricity to power them and wherever there is electricity and living life, there is always a chance of danger.
