Split Cable Glands

‘Replace defective legacy cable glands easily without interfering with the existing installation’

The splittable metric cable gland assembly offered by ATL Transformers, is an IP67 Plastic cable gland for applications where disconnection to critical loads is not possible. The cable gland body, pressure screw and lock nut each consist of two halves, and the sealing inserts are slit at the side so that cables can be placed in them. Suitable for temperatures -20 to +80 Deg C

Class I & Class II tested assemblies   

A combination of specific component parts have been created to satisfy popular cable sizes in the field. This combination of specific parts have been electrically tested by ATL Transformers to meet the requirements of BS EN 61439-1:2011 and the dielectric requirements for both Class I & Class II installations.  

Simple Installation   

When using the Split Gland, the entire hole diameter can be used to feed through plugs or sensors on prefabricated cables, and old or defective cable glands can be replaced without having to disconnect the supply.

Split Cable Gland Features

• Split cable gland body, pressure screw and counter nut
• Used for cables with connectors attached
• The polycarbonate Split Gland is available in sizes M25 and M32 (M20 available on request)
